Venture Into Voice: An In-Person Creative Writing Workshop with Chris Ferreiras on Saturday February 10 1-3 PM (EST)

Voice can imbue our writing with a sense of identity, persona, character, and attitude that makes the body of work as unique as the person the words came through. But what does it mean to find one's voice? How do we find it, and how do we use it when we do?

By the end of this workshop you can expect you have a solid foundation of prompts, approaches, tools and techniques to engage your creative writing goals.

In this generative writing workshop we will:

- discuss some common myths about finding one's voice.

- challenge these myths to unblock the obstacles that keep us from accessing our own.

- read poems and prose that exemplify the power of voice.

- learn tools to access our own voice and how to use them.
